- George Graham's Arsenal produced one of the club's finest league campaigns in 1990-91, winning the First Division title while losing only one league match, despite a two-point deduction during the season. New goalkeeper David Seaman anchored a defence led by Tony Adams, while Alan Smith finished as the division's top scorer and Anders Limpar and Paul Merson added creativity. The following season brought the arrival of Ian Wright from Crystal Palace, though Arsenal finished fourth and suffered a famous FA Cup defeat at Wrexham.
