The long-sleeve version retained the same minimalist design and was part of the kit collection worn during one of the most successful seasons under Sir Alex Ferguson. The squad included Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tévez, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidić, and Edwin van der Sar.
- Manchester United won the 2007/08 Premier League title with 87 points, finishing two points ahead of Chelsea. Ronaldo scored 31 league goals and 42 across all competitions, earning the Premier League Golden Boot and later the 2008 Ballon d'Or. On 21 May 2008, United faced Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium. Following a 1–1 draw after extra time, United won the penalty shootout 6–5, securing their third European Cup and completing a Premier League and Champions League double.
