- Manchester City's 2013/14 home jersey marked the beginning of the club's partnership with Nike following its previous association with Umbro. Unveiled in New York in May 2013, the design featured a traditional sky-blue body with white collar and sleeve cuffs edged in navy, referencing colors worn by the club in 1892. Under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, City developed one of the Premier League's most productive attacking teams, featuring Sergio Agüero, Yaya Touré, David Silva, Edin Džeko, Vincent Kompany, and Pablo Zabaleta.
- Manchester City won the 2013/14 Premier League title with 86 points, finishing two points ahead of Liverpool and scoring 102 league goals. Yaya Touré contributed 20 Premier League goals, while Džeko and Agüero also played important attacking roles. City additionally won the Football League Cup, defeating Sunderland 3–1 at Wembley, with Touré, Samir Nasri, and Jesús Navas scoring. The club reached the UEFA Champions League round of 16 before losing to Barcelona. The sky-blue Nike shirt is associated with City's second Premier League championship in three seasons and their domestic cup double.
