Product Stats
- Chelsea introduced their black-and-orange adidas away jersey in July 2010 ahead of the 2010/11 season. The design combined vivid orange branding with subtle vertical pinstripes and adidas ClimaCool technology, offering a distinctive alternative to the club's traditional blue home colors. The shirt was first scheduled to be worn against Hamburg in a preseason friendly on 4 August 2010. Carlo Ancelotti's Chelsea entered the campaign as defending Premier League champions after winning the domestic league and FA Cup double in 2009/10.
- During the 2010/11 campaign, Chelsea finished second in the Premier League behind Manchester United and reached the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, where they were eliminated by the same opponents. The squad included Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, John Terry, Nicolas Anelka, Ashley Cole, and Florent Malouda, while Fernando Torres and David Luiz arrived in January 2011. The season ended without a major trophy and proved to be Ancelotti's final campaign in charge. This black-and-orange adidas design remains a recognizable shirt from Chelsea's early-2010s era.
