Product Stats
- Real Madrid's 2003/04 season marked David Beckham's first campaign at the club following his transfer from Manchester United, joining a Galácticos squad featuring Ronaldo, Zinédine Zidane, Raúl, Luís Figo, and Roberto Carlos. adidas supplied the dark navy away jersey with light-blue shoulder stripes and Siemens mobile sponsorship. Managed by Carlos Queiroz, Madrid began the campaign by winning the Supercopa de España against Mallorca and remained in contention for major honors during the first half of the season. However, the team lost the Copa del Rey final 3–2 to Real Zaragoza after extra time and exited the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals against Monaco on away goals following a 5–5 aggregate draw. A difficult finish to the league campaign saw Madrid place fourth in La Liga, while Ronaldo scored 24 league goals. The navy adidas shirt remains associated with Beckham's arrival and a memorable but ultimately trophy-limited chapter of the Galácticos era.
