Product Stats
- The 1980–82 period was part of an important transitional era for FC Barcelona, as the club continued to develop its identity through domestic and European competition. Barcelona's traditional blaugrana colors remained central to its visual identity, with broad red and blue vertical stripes serving as the defining feature of its home shirts. During this period, commercial advertising had not yet become part of the club's front-of-shirt design. The illustrated jersey draws on the early-1980s aesthetic, combining a fold-down collar, contrasting shoulder decoration, and the historic club crest.
- Barcelona finished fifth in La Liga in 1980/81 and second in 1981/82. The club won the Copa del Rey in 1981 and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1982, defeating Standard Liège 2–1 in the final at Camp Nou. These successes helped establish the early 1980s as a memorable period in Barcelona's history, even though the Spanish league championship remained out of reach. The traditional striped home-shirt aesthetic continues to represent the club's longstanding connection to its Catalan identity and football heritage.
