Product Stats
- Venezia entered 1999-00 hoping to build on their return to Serie A, but Walter Novellino, who had led the promotion, left for Napoli and the squad was not strengthened enough. It became a turbulent campaign under president Maurizio Zamparini, with four coaching changes: Luciano Spalletti, Giuseppe Materazzi, Spalletti again and finally Francesco Oddo. Forward Maurizio Ganz and Japanese midfielder Hiroshi Nanami were among the notable names, but Venezia were relegated to Serie B alongside Torino, Cagliari and Piacenza.
- This home shirt captures Venezia's distinctive identity, combining green and black stripes with orange-red pinstripes to reflect the club's orange, black and green colours. The gold winged lion crest, drawn from the symbol of the city, gives it a unique historical touch rarely seen on other football shirts. The Kronos branding and EMMEZETA sponsor fix it firmly in the late 1990s. It appeals to Venezia supporters, collectors of rare Serie A shirts, Kronos enthusiasts, fans of Italian provincial clubs and lovers of unusual retro football colourways.
