Product Stats
- West Germany entered the 1990 World Cup in Italy under Franz Beckenbauer, captained by Lothar Matthäus and spearheaded by Jürgen Klinsmann and Rudi Völler. After topping their group, they beat the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia and England, the latter on penalties, to reach a third consecutive final. Andreas Brehme's late penalty secured a 1-0 win over Argentina in Rome, giving the country its third World Cup title and making Beckenbauer a winner as both player and manager.
- This away shirt is one of the most celebrated designs of the late 1980s and early 1990s, built around a bold green chevron and diamond pattern that creates a strong sense of movement. White three-stripe sleeves, a trim V-neck and the white trefoil and DFB eagle crest give it a clean, balanced finish. Its link to the last World Cup won before reunification adds historical weight. It appeals to Germany supporters, 1990 World Cup collectors, Matthäus and Klinsmann fans, adidas Originals enthusiasts and fans of bold retro football shirt patterns.
