Product Stats
- The 1997-98 campaign belonged above all to Alessandro Del Piero, who finished as the leading scorer in that season's Champions League with ten goals. In Serie A, Juventus edged a close title race, with a 1-0 home win over Inter in late April, decided by Del Piero, proving decisive. Marcello Lippi's midfield relied on Didier Deschamps, Antonio Conte and Zinedine Zidane, while Filippo Inzaghi added a steady supply of goals. The season ended with defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
- The long sleeve version of this home shirt stands out for its sleeve-mounted crest with two gold stars, leaving the chest to the Kappa logo and the navy SONY MiniDisc band. Curved striped shoulders, ribbed cuffs, a black polo collar with white tips and black mesh side panels give it a distinctive late-1990s silhouette. Long sleeve examples from this season are harder to find than short sleeve versions, increasing their appeal. It appeals to Juventus supporters, Del Piero fans, Lippi-era collectors, long sleeve shirt collectors and fans of classic striped football kits.
