Product Stats
- Opel, the German automaker, sponsored Bayern Munich's shirts from 1989 to 2002, one of the longest-running shirt sponsorships in Bundesliga history, spanning several of the club's most successful European campaigns.
- This was the final season of the Opel partnership before Deutsche Telekom's sub-brands took over as shirt sponsor, and it followed Bayern Munich's Champions League title win the previous season in 2001.
