- This home jersey belongs to Barcelona's 2000-01 season, which began under the shadow of Luis Figo's controversial world-record transfer to arch-rivals Real Madrid that summer, a move that infuriated fans and reshaped the Barcelona-Real Madrid rivalry. New manager Lorenzo Serra Ferrer led the team through a difficult campaign, though Barcelona did beat Real Madrid 2-0 at Camp Nou in October 2000, Figo's first return to the stadium since his transfer, with goals from Luis Enrique and Simao.
- Despite that result, Barcelona struggled for consistency for much of the season, and Serra Ferrer was sacked in April 2001 with the team in danger of missing Champions League qualification. Under caretaker Carles Rexach, Barcelona secured the final qualifying spot on the last day of the season thanks to a Rivaldo hat-trick against Valencia, including a memorable bicycle-kick goal. Rivaldo finished as the club's top scorer with 23 league goals. Made by Nike, this jersey is a notable piece for collectors of the post-Figo Barcelona era.
