- This home jersey belongs to Real Madrid's 2007-08 season, the first under manager Bernd Schuster, who replaced Fabio Capello after he was surprisingly dismissed despite winning the league title the previous year. Real Madrid set a league record with 85 points that season, finishing eight points clear of surprise runners-up Villarreal, with club captain Raul leading the team in league scoring with 18 goals.
- The title was mathematically secured away at Osasuna on 4 May 2008 in dramatic fashion. Real Madrid played the entire second half with ten men and fell behind to a penalty in the 83rd minute, but goals from Arjen Robben and Gonzalo Higuain in the closing stages turned the match around for a 2-1 win. The result clinched the club's 31st La Liga title and back-to-back championships.
