- This home jersey belongs to Sporting CP's 1999-2000 season, a landmark campaign that ended the club's 18-year wait for a league title. The season began with turbulence, as manager Giuseppe Materazzi was sacked in September after a shock UEFA Cup defeat to Norwegian side Viking, and replaced by former Sporting player Augusto Inacio. The squad featured Danish international goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, fresh from Manchester United's historic treble the year before, alongside striker Alberto Acosta, who led the line in attack.
- Under Inacio, Sporting went on a run of 12 unbeaten matches and finished the season with 23 wins from 34 games, winning the Primeira Liga by a wide margin over the traditional powers Porto and Benfica. Sporting also reached the final of the Taca de Portugal, though they were beaten there. The title was the club's first since 1981-82 and their 17th overall. Made by Reebok and sponsored by Telecel, this jersey is tied to one of the most celebrated seasons in modern Sporting history.
