- This away jersey belongs to Paris Saint-Germain's 2004-05 season, a difficult campaign following a promising previous year in which the club finished runners-up in Ligue 1 and won the Coupe de France. Manager Vahid Halilhodzic, who had led that success, struggled to replicate it, and with the team's form faltering, he was dismissed in February 2005 and replaced by Laurent Fournier for the remainder of the season.
- PSG also lost the Trophee des Champions at the start of the campaign and were eliminated from the Coupe de France in the round of 16 despite entering as defending champions. The club ultimately finished a disappointing ninth in Ligue 1, with striker Pauleta the team's top scorer for a fourth consecutive season with 19 goals in all competitions.
