- This home jersey belongs to AC Milan's 1999-2000 season, a landmark year marking the club's centenary, 100 years since its founding in 1899. The club held a grand ceremony at San Siro on 21 July 1999 to launch the celebrations, with club legends returning to the pitch and former NASA astronaut Eugene Cernan, the last man to walk on the Moon, joining manager Alberto Zaccheroni on a tour of the field.
- On the pitch, Milan entered the season as defending Serie A champions after winning the title the year before, but could not repeat that success, finishing third behind champions Lazio and runners-up Juventus, and exiting the Champions League at the group stage. The season did produce a bright spot in new signing Andriy Shevchenko, who finished as Serie A's top scorer with 24 goals in his debut campaign in Italy. Made by adidas and sponsored by Opel, this jersey's centenary collar detail marks a proud milestone in the club's history.
