- This jersey is part of an adidas Originals collection released for the 2025-26 season to celebrate 65 years of Tigres UANL, founded on 7 March 1960 as Club Deportivo Universitario de Nuevo Leon, representing the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon. The club adopted the Tigres name and its now-iconic gold and blue colors soon after, and has grown into one of the most successful sides in Mexican football, with eight Liga MX titles, three Copa MX titles and a CONCACAF Champions League crown to its name.
- The design draws on Tigres' kits from the 1970s and early 1980s, reviving the club's older crest, a tiger inside a football, in place of the more recent 'T' logo, alongside a tonal Trefoil pattern and classic adidas three-stripe shoulders. The wider anniversary collection also included a matching track top, training pants, T-shirts and a dress. As a special retro release rather than a standard match kit, this jersey stands as a tribute to the long partnership between Tigres and adidas and to the club's history at the Estadio Universitario in Monterrey.

The shirt is yellow with a subtle tonal jacquard pattern of the adidas Trefoil woven throughout, and a wide blue horizontal band across the chest reading TIGRES in large retro block letters. The collar is a white fold-over polo style with blue and white tipped cuffs. Classic blue and white adidas three-stripe trim runs along each shoulder. A blue embroidered adidas Trefoil logo sits on the left chest, with the retro Tigres crest, a circular badge featuring a tiger inside a ball, positioned on the right chest. A woven hem tag marks the 1960-2025 anniversary.
