- This home jersey belongs to Inter Milan's 1999-2000 season, the first under new manager Marcello Lippi, who arrived following a disappointing eighth-place finish the previous year. The club made a statement in the transfer market by signing Christian Vieri from Lazio for a then world-record fee of around 49 million euros, pairing him with Ronaldo to form an attacking line that also featured Roberto Baggio, Ivan Zamorano and Alvaro Recoba, one of the most star-studded forward groups ever assembled at a single club.
- Despite that firepower, Inter could not sustain their early form after injuries to both Vieri and Ronaldo in the autumn, and were overtaken by champions Lazio and runners-up Juventus in a fiercely competitive Serie A, finishing fourth. Inter also lost the Coppa Italia final to Lazio and had to beat Parma in a play-off to secure their Champions League place for the following season, with Roberto Baggio scoring twice in his farewell appearance for the club. Made by Nike and sponsored by Pirelli, this jersey belongs to one of Inter's most talent-laden but ultimately trophyless campaigns.
