- This home jersey was worn during Portugal's historic 2016 European Championship campaign in France under manager Fernando Santos. Playing a pragmatic, defense-first style, Portugal advanced from the group stage as a third-place team after a 3-3 draw with Hungary, then ground out a series of tight knockout results, conceding just once across 420 minutes of knockout football, to reach the final against host nation France.
- In the final at the Stade de France, captain Cristiano Ronaldo was forced off in tears after just 25 minutes with a knee injury, and Portugal had to see out the remainder of normal time and extra time without their talisman. Substitute Eder settled the match with a stunning low strike from 25 yards in the 109th minute, giving Portugal a 1-0 win and their first-ever major international trophy. Made by Nike, this jersey is closely tied to one of the most improbable and celebrated triumphs in Portuguese football history.
