- Teka, a Spanish home appliance manufacturer, sponsored Real Madrid's shirts from 1992 to 2001, one of the longest shirt sponsorships in the club's history before the arrival of Siemens Mobile in the early 2000s.
- This template coincided with a period of Champions League success for Real Madrid, who won the competition in 1998 and 2000, and commemorative badges marking these victories were often added to the following season's kits.
