- This home jersey was worn across Inter Milan's 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons, a period built around head coach Giovanni Trapattoni's third and fourth years at the club. The 1988-89 campaign became known as the 'Scudetto dei record,' as Inter, strengthened by new signings Lothar Matthaus, Andreas Brehme and Ramon Diaz, won the title with a then-record 58 points from 34 games, an 11-point margin, and just two defeats and 19 goals conceded all season. Matthaus scored the decisive free-kick against Napoli at San Siro to clinch the championship with four games to spare.
- The following season, despite adding Jurgen Klinsmann to the squad, Inter could not retain their title, finishing third as Diego Maradona inspired Napoli to their second and final Scudetto, and were eliminated in the first round of the European Cup by Swedish side Malmo. Made by Uhlsport, the jersey carries Inter's traditional blue and black stripes along with the MISURA sponsor, a furniture retailer. Covering both the club's record-setting triumph and the following title defense, this jersey remains a significant piece for collectors of Inter's late-1980s Trapattoni era.
