- This home jersey belongs to Inter Milan's 2004-05 season, the first under new head coach Roberto Mancini, who arrived from Lazio that summer. A stream of draws kept Inter out of the Serie A title race, and they finished third behind champions Juventus, though the title was later stripped from Juventus following the Calciopoli scandal. Striker Adriano, nicknamed 'The Emperor,' led the attack with 28 goals in all competitions, 16 of them in the league, powering the team through a difficult campaign.
- Inter's Champions League run ended in acrimony at the quarter-final stage against city rivals AC Milan, when the second leg at San Siro was abandoned after Inter fans threw flares onto the pitch, one of which struck Milan goalkeeper Dida; Inter were later fined and ordered to play behind closed doors. The season ended in triumph, however, as Inter beat Roma to win the Coppa Italia, their first trophy since 1998 and the start of a run of domestic success under Mancini. Made by Nike and sponsored by Pirelli, this jersey marks the beginning of that era.
