- This home jersey was worn during the Netherlands' celebrated run at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil under head coach Louis van Gaal. The tournament opened with a stunning 5-1 demolition of defending champions Spain, featuring two goals apiece from Robin van Persie, including his famous diving header, and Arjen Robben, exacting revenge for the Netherlands' 2010 final defeat to the same opponents. The Dutch topped their group by also beating Australia and Chile, then edged past Mexico with two late goals in the last 16.
- In the quarter-final against Costa Rica, Van Gaal made the unconventional decision to substitute goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen for Tim Krul specifically for penalties, and Krul saved two spot kicks to send the Netherlands through. Their run ended in the semi-final against Argentina, lost on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes, before the Dutch beat hosts Brazil to secure third place. Made by Nike, the jersey carries the Netherlands' traditional bright orange with a red, white and blue collar trim, and remains one of the most recognizable kits of the 2014 World Cup.
