This vivid gradient away kit marked a bold departure from the club's usual colourways.
- The Qatar Foundation sponsorship, which ran from 2011 to 2013, was Barcelona's first shirt sponsor after decades without one, and this kit represented one of the final seasons of that partnership before the club moved to Qatar Airways.

A navy crew-neck collar trimmed in red carries the club's "més que un club" motto along the inner trim, and navy-and-red piping traces down each side seam.
