- This away jersey was worn during Cameroon's 1998 World Cup campaign in France, the Indomitable Lions' fifth appearance at the tournament under head coach Claude Le Roy. Drawn into a tough group with Austria, Italy and Chile, Cameroon opened with a 1-1 draw against Austria before a 0-3 defeat to Italy and a final 1-1 draw with Chile, exiting at the group stage on goal difference. The tournament marked the World Cup debut of a 17-year-old Samuel Eto'o, who came on as a substitute against Italy at the start of a career that would later make him one of Africa's greatest players.
- Made by Puma, the jersey pairs Cameroon's national yellow with bold green side panels and red piping, along with the federation crest and the Indomitable Lions' green lion emblem. Worn by a squad also featuring captain Rigobert Song, goalkeeper Jacques Songo'o and forward Patrick Mboma, this jersey captures a transitional Cameroon side on the cusp of the Africa Cup of Nations titles it would go on to win in 2000 and 2002.
