- This home jersey belongs to AC Milan's 2015-16 season, played under new head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who replaced Filippo Inzaghi that summer and brought in signings including Carlos Bacca, Alessio Romagnoli and the returning Mario Balotelli. The season produced a piece of club history in October 2015 when 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma became the youngest goalkeeper to debut in Serie A, and Milan later beat rivals Inter 3-0 in the derby. Mihajlovic was sacked in April 2016 after a run of poor results and replaced by Cristian Brocchi, with the club finishing seventh in Serie A but reaching the Coppa Italia final, where they lost to Juventus after extra time. Bacca finished as Milan's top scorer with 18 league goals.
- Made by adidas, the jersey returns to Milan's traditional stripe count of five black and four red, rendered in a darker, mottled melange red for a more textured finish, with grey rather than white adidas stripes on the shoulders. For the second consecutive season, the crest is replaced by the Cross of St. George, a historic symbol of the city of Milan, with the club's modern badge worked in tone-on-tone within it. As one of the more design-forward Milan shirts of the adidas era, this jersey remains a distinctive piece for Rossoneri collectors.

The shirt has traditional vertical stripes, five black and four red, with the red rendered in a mottled, melange texture. The crew neck collar is black, and grey adidas three-stripe trim runs along each shoulder seam. A white embroidered adidas logo sits on the left chest, with the white shield crest bearing a red Cross of St. George and a tone-on-tone Milan emblem at its center, positioned on the right chest beneath a single gold star. A large white Fly Emirates wordmark is printed across the center chest, with climacool text near the lower right hem. A small tag in the colors of the Italian flag is sewn near the lower left hem.
