Nike's design for the season introduced a distinctive gradient fade from blue to garnet, a departure from the more traditional striped patterns of earlier Barcelona kits and one of the more visually striking shirts of the era.
- The yellow Qatar Foundation logo across the chest marks the final season of the organization's sponsorship of Barcelona, a partnership that ran from 2011 to 2013 as the club's first ever paid shirt sponsor.
