This cream away shirt, with its curved garnet and blue side panels, offered a much more understated companion to the bold wide-striped home kit worn the same season, reflecting the range of designs introduced during this transitional era.
- The shirt carries no commercial sponsor, continuing Barcelona's long-standing historical policy of keeping the shirt free of advertising, a tradition the club maintained well into the 2000s.
