At the time, Real Madrid's kits were supplied by the Spanish brand Kelme, whose bold, experimental designs of the mid-to-late 1990s, including this striking geometric third shirt, stand out as some of the most distinctive in the club's kit history.
- The Teka logo on the chest reflects one of the longest sponsorships in Spanish football, with the home appliance manufacturer backing Real Madrid's shirt from 1982 through 2001.
