Product Stats
- The 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany is often remembered as a "summer fairytale", a tournament that brought a festive atmosphere to stadiums and fan zones across the country. adidas marked the occasion with this white home shirt featuring black, red and gold panels inspired by the national flag.
- The host nation opened the tournament with a win over Costa Rica in Munich and topped its group before beating Sweden and then Argentina on penalties to reach the semi-finals. After a narrow extra-time defeat to Italy in Dortmund, Germany secured third place, and the young team's attacking style laid the foundations for future success.
