- The famous Azzurri blue has been Italy's home colour for more than a century, and Puma's 2004 interpretation gave it a modern, minimalist twist. With the crest and logo placed in a central column and gold accents throughout, the shirt broke away from traditional layouts and became one of the most distinctive national team designs of its time.
- Italy wore this kit at the 2004 European Championship in Portugal, where they went through the group stage unbeaten but were edged out on head-to-head results in a closely contested group. The three stars above the crest marked the nation's World Cup wins in 1934, 1938 and 1982, and a fourth would soon follow when Italy lifted the trophy in Germany in 2006.

This royal blue shirt features a ribbed crew-neck collar, raglan seams and layered panel detailing on the sleeves, finished with a curved hem. The embroidered "ITALIA" shield crest in green, white and red sits at the centre of the chest beneath three gold stars, with a gold Puma cat logo directly below and matching gold Puma logos on both sleeves, while a woven FIGC and Puma tab is stitched near the lower side hem and a Puma label is placed inside the collar.
