- Blue has a special place in Brazilian football history: at the 1958 FIFA World Cup in Sweden, Brazil wore blue in the final because the hosts also played in yellow, and went on to win their first world title. Since then, the blue shirt has remained the Seleção's traditional alternative colour and a favourite among supporters.
- This mid-1990s Umbro version carries the four stars earned after Brazil's victory at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the United States. Its bold tonal crest graphic, mirrored from the yellow home shirt, made the pair one of the most recognisable kit sets of the decade and a lasting favourite with collectors of retro football shirts.
