- Barcelona unveiled their 2015/16 Nike home kit in May 2015, introducing horizontal blue-and-red stripes for the first time in the football team's history. Inspired by the Blaugrana flags waved by supporters at Camp Nou, the design departed from the club's traditional vertical stripes while retaining its familiar colors. The collar incorporated yellow-and-red detailing referencing the Catalan flag and the club motto “Més que un club.” Under manager Luis Enrique, Barcelona won their second consecutive La Liga title with 91 points and secured the Copa del Rey with a 2–0 extra-time victory over Sevilla on 22 May 2016. The team also won the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla and the FIFA Club World Cup against River Plate, completing a four-trophy season. Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, and Neymar formed the celebrated MSN attacking trio, supported by Andrés Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitić, Gerard Piqué, and Javier Mascherano. Suárez finished as La Liga's leading scorer with 40 goals, winning both the Pichichi Trophy and European Golden Shoe. In the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona reached the quarterfinals before being eliminated by Atlético Madrid. This distinctive horizontal-striped jersey remains closely associated with the club's domestic double and successful 2015/16 campaign.
