Product Stats
- The 2012/13 season marked one of Borussia Dortmund's most memorable European campaigns, as the club reached the UEFA Champions League final for the first time since its 1997 triumph. Puma supplied a distinctive yellow-and-black striped Champions League home jersey, featuring irregular vertical graphics, EVONIK sponsorship, and the two-star BVB crest. Under manager Jürgen Klopp, Dortmund progressed through a challenging group featuring Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Ajax before eliminating Shakhtar Donetsk, Málaga, and Real Madrid in the knockout stages. The club reached the final at Wembley Stadium on May 25, 2013, where it lost 2–1 to Bayern Munich. Dortmund also finished second in the Bundesliga that season. Despite missing out on the European title, the campaign established this striking striped shirt as an enduring part of the club's modern history.
