Product Stats
- Barcelona's 2020-21 season followed a period of upheaval, including the 8-2 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich in August 2020 and the arrival of Ronald Koeman as head coach. Playing much of the season in empty stadiums due to the pandemic, the club won the Copa del Rey, beating Athletic Club 4-0 in the final in April 2021, and finished third in La Liga. In the Champions League, Barcelona were eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16.
- Lionel Messi wore the number 10 shirt and was again the team's leading figure. He finished as La Liga's top scorer for a record eighth time and scored twice in the Copa del Rey final. During the season he overtook Pelé's record for most goals for a single club and broke Xavi's record for most appearances for Barcelona. After his contract expired that summer, the club announced in August 2021 that he would not be staying, and he joined Paris Saint-Germain, making 2020-21 his last season at Barcelona.
- This away shirt features a sleek black base with yellow detailing and a black and yellow version of the crest, giving it a bold, modern look. The Champions League starball and five-trophy badge of honour mark it as the European version. It appeals to Barcelona supporters, Messi and Argentina fans, Champions League collectors and anyone who wants a shirt from the end of Messi's historic era in Barcelona.
