Product Stats
- The 1998-99 season is the most famous in Manchester United's history. Under Sir Alex Ferguson, the club won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League, becoming the first English team to complete the Treble. The European triumph came in dramatic fashion at the Camp Nou on 26 May 1999, when United trailed Bayern Munich 1-0 going into stoppage time before Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjær scored to win 2-1. The shirt was also worn in 1999-00, when United retained the league title and won the Intercontinental Cup.
- David Beckham wore the number 7 shirt, having taken it over after Eric Cantona's retirement in 1997. During the Treble season he was one of the key creative forces in the team, delivering crosses and set pieces from the right wing, and both of the stoppage-time goals in Barcelona came from his corners. He finished second in the 1999 Ballon d'Or voting, a reflection of his outstanding contribution to that historic campaign.
- This home shirt is one of the most recognisable in English football, with its white zip-neck collar, Umbro diamond taping and SHARP sponsor. The long sleeve version adds a classic touch that recalls the club's winter matches of the era. It appeals to Manchester United supporters, Beckham fans, collectors of the Treble era and anyone who loves iconic late-1990s Premier League shirts.
