Product Stats
- Mexico's black and gold away kit was introduced in 2011 and worn at that year's CONCACAF Gold Cup and Copa América. At the Gold Cup, Mexico reached the final against the United States at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. After falling 2-0 behind, Mexico came back to win 4-2, with Pablo Barrera scoring twice and Andrés Guardado also on target. Javier Hernández finished as the tournament's top scorer and was named its best player, and the victory gave Mexico qualification for the 2013 Confederations Cup.
- Giovani dos Santos wore the number 10 shirt and scored the final goal of the 2011 final, one of the most memorable in Gold Cup history. He rounded goalkeeper Tim Howard near the byline and lifted a curling chip over a defender on the line and into the far corner. The goal sealed the comeback, and it remains one of the most celebrated moments of his international career.
- This shirt carries a CONCACAF 50th anniversary 1963-2013 patch alongside the Gold Cup patch, a combination that matches the 2013 Gold Cup rather than the 2011 final, while the black and gold design itself was used across 2011 to 2013. Its gold detailing, red shoulder stripes and SOMOS GUERREROS neck tape give it a distinctive warrior identity, and the look later inspired Mexico's black-and-gold kits for the 2025 Gold Cup. It appeals to Mexico supporters, Dos Santos fans, CONCACAF tournament collectors and anyone who loves bold black-and-gold football shirts.
