Product Stats
- Germany won Euro 96 in England under Berti Vogts, with Jürgen Klinsmann as captain and Matthias Sammer named the tournament's best player. After topping their group, they beat Croatia in the quarter-finals and edged hosts England on penalties at Wembley in the semi-finals. In the final against the Czech Republic, substitute Oliver Bierhoff equalised and then scored the first golden goal to decide a major tournament final, securing a 2-1 win and the country's third European title.
- Lothar Matthäus was born in Erlangen, Germany, in 1961 and became one of the most complete midfielders of his era. Wearing the number 10, he captained West Germany to the 1990 World Cup title and won the Ballon d'Or that year. He was not selected for Euro 96, but returned for the 1998 World Cup and went on to set national records for appearances. This shirt carries his number as a custom print, celebrating his place among Germany's greatest players.
- This home shirt is one of the most recognisable German designs of the 1990s, pairing a white shadow-striped body with a black collar trimmed in the national colours and bold black three-stripe sleeves. The DFB shield crest with three stars, the Euro 96 and Fair Play patches and the woven federation label give it authentic tournament character. Combined with Matthäus' number 10, it is a tribute to one of the country's most celebrated captains. It appeals to Germany supporters, Euro 96 collectors, Lothar Matthäus fans, adidas Originals enthusiasts and collectors of classic international shirts.
