Product Stats
- Ernesto Valverde's first season at Barcelona began with Neymar's departure to Paris Saint-Germain, yet the team went on to win a domestic double. Barcelona thrashed Sevilla 5-0 in the Copa del Rey final and won La Liga, losing only one league match all season, with Lionel Messi finishing as the division's top scorer. Their Champions League run ended in the quarter-finals against Roma. On 20 May 2018, the final league match against Real Sociedad became a farewell to Iniesta, with Barcelona wearing their new kit for the first time and winning 1-0.
- Andrés Iniesta was born in Fuentealbilla, Spain, in 1984 and joined Barcelona's La Masia academy as a boy, making his first-team debut in 2002. Wearing the number 8, he became one of the finest midfielders of his generation, winning nine La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues with the club. For Spain, he won two European Championships and scored the winning goal in the 2010 World Cup final. After his emotional farewell at Camp Nou, he continued his career with Vissel Kobe in Japan.
- This farewell edition shirt combines Barcelona's new fine pinstripe design with a special yellow infinity symbol and #Infinit8Iniesta lettering marking the date and venue of his final match. The navy collar, red and yellow neck tab and full-colour crest complete a clean, modern look. As a one-off commemorative design, it holds strong collector value. It appeals to Barcelona supporters, Andrés Iniesta fans, La Masia admirers, collectors of commemorative football shirts and fans of Spain's golden generation.
