Product Stats
- Under Alfio Basile, Argentina won the 1993 Copa América in Ecuador, beating Mexico 2-1 in the final with two goals from Gabriel Batistuta. Goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea was named player of the tournament after saving penalties in shoot-outs against Brazil and Colombia. The same year, Argentina also won the Artemio Franchi Trophy against Denmark. Later in 1993, a heavy home defeat to Colombia in World Cup qualifying forced a play-off against Australia, which Argentina won to reach USA 94. The Copa América triumph proved to be the country's last senior title until 2021.
- This goalkeeper shirt captures the bold spirit of early-1990s goalkeeper design, combining a multicolour gradient with an all-over AFA crest print and sharp black shard graphics. Black three-stripe long sleeves, ribbed cuffs and a black crew neck frame the vivid body, while the trefoil and full-colour crest complete the look. Its eye-catching style makes it equally suited to display and streetwear. It appeals to Argentina supporters, goalkeeper shirt collectors, 1993 Copa América fans, adidas Originals enthusiasts and lovers of bold retro football designs.
