Product Stats
- Diego Maradona, born in 1960 and captain of the Argentina side that won the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, died in November 2020, prompting tributes across the football world. The gold lettering on this shirt reflects that outpouring: D10S combines the Spanish word for God with his famous number 10, while the dates 1960 to infinity express the lasting nature of his legacy. At the time, Lionel Scaloni's Argentina were in the early rounds of a qualifying campaign that would later end with victory at the 2022 World Cup.
- This tribute edition builds on the 2020-21 away design, pairing a dark navy base and teal brushstroke print with aqua three-stripe shoulders and striped cuffs. The gold D10S and GRACIAS DIEGO lettering sits at the centre of the chest beside the AFA crest, turning the shirt into a tribute piece rather than a standard replica. It is especially meaningful for fans who grew up with Maradona's legend. It appeals to Argentina supporters, Maradona admirers, collectors of commemorative football shirts, Napoli and Boca Juniors fans and collectors of modern international kits.
