Product Stats
- Chivas Guadalajara's 1997-98 alternate away jersey came from Nike's brief partnership with the Mexican club. Its red and navy vertical stripes, thin white outlines and distinctive crossover collar offered a bold variation on Guadalajara's traditional red-and-white identity. Featuring MEXLUB sponsorship and the club's historic crest, the design reflects an unusual and memorable chapter in Chivas' late-1990s kit history.
- The jersey belongs to the period immediately following Guadalajara's Verano 1997 championship, when the club claimed its tenth Mexican league title. Players such as Ramón Ramírez, Alberto Coyote and Gustavo Nápoles helped define that successful era. Although the striped Nike design is documented in historical kit archives, its use in official matches is not firmly established. It remains a distinctive collectible associated with the club's 1997 transition between kit manufacturers.

Description
This Chivas Guadalajara 1997-98 alternate away jersey features bold red and navy vertical stripes separated by narrow white lines. A deep navy crossover V-neck collar, contrasting Nike Swoosh and detailed club crest define its classic 1990s appearance. The prominent MEXLUB sponsor adds period character, while the FMF Primera División sleeve patch and additional sleeve branding complete this distinctive design from Nike's brief association with the Mexican club.
