Product Stats
- River Plate won the 2018 Copa Libertadores after defeating Boca Juniors in a historic Superclásico final. Following a 2-2 first-leg draw, the second leg was played on December 9, 2018, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, where River Plate secured a 3-1 extra-time victory. Managed by Marcelo Gallardo, the club claimed its fourth Copa Libertadores title.
- The 2018-19 adidas home design retained River Plate's traditional white base and red diagonal sash, adding subtle striping and a black, 1990s-inspired collar. This commemorative configuration features a gold champions badge celebrating the 2018 victory, together with a gold CONMEBOL sleeve patch. It should be distinguished from the exact shirt configuration worn during the 2018 final, as the champions insignia commemorates the title after it was won.
