Product Stats
- Bayern Munich used this adidas away design during the 1996-97 and 1997-98 seasons. The team won the Bundesliga title in 1996-97 under Giovanni Trapattoni, with Lothar Matthäus wearing number 10. Bayern finished second in the Bundesliga the following season. The white shirt's red and blue stripe, black adidas detailing, and Opel sponsorship reflect the club's visual identity in the late 1990s.
- This design was also associated with Bayern's European fixtures during the period. Its contrasting polo collar, shoulder stripes, and distinctive single-sided red and blue panel set it apart from the club's traditional red home kits. The uploaded shirt also includes a UEFA Champions League starball sleeve patch, although the exact use of this particular patched configuration in an individual match has not been independently established.
